HOT OFF THE PRESS!!
I am excited to announce that my newest book is officially on Amazon and available for purchase! I started this workbook four years ago, but then life got in the way and I put it on the back burner. Since my sister passed away last year, I have felt an urging to complete it.
It has actually been very cathartic for me to create, as I go through my own grief journey from losing her. Below is a summary. Also, if you click the link, then click on “Look Inside” (Only on PC), right above the cover, you can get an idea of what is inside the book. https://www.amazon.com/dp/1508902291
SUMMARY:
This book was created to help you work through your grief of losing someone you love. Due to the prompts in this workbook, it is best suited for someone grieving a spouse, parent, sibling, friend, or older child. It would not generally be suited for someone who is grieving an infant or young child.
Although the title suggests that you write in in daily, you may take as much time as you need to complete it. Some days you may complete more that one prompt, and other days you may not feel up to writing. This is okay.
Do not feel guilty if you are having a day where you cannot form the words to put onto the paper. Grief is a long, difficult process and it takes time to be able to cope with the overwhelming emotions.
There may be some prompts that resonate with you more than others or that fit your own situation better than others. Feel free to insert your own prompt if the one listed doesn’t apply to you.
Once this project is finished, you will have a thick book of memories and memorabilia of your loved one, that you will be able to read again and again. You may want to pass it on to your children or another family member, so they will know about the person that means so much to you.
My hope is that this book brings you a sense of comfort and that you will cherish the memories as you recall them.
